Nautilus Privacy Policy

Nautilus is a maritime archive, exploration and investigation tool. This policy explains what data we process, why we use it and how you can exercise your rights.

Short version: we use your data to authenticate you, save investigations, show wrecks and maps, and support notes, boards and evidence. We do not sell your data.

Nautilus may use technical providers for hosting, databases, maps, storage, security and error diagnostics. Providers must only process data to deliver the service.

5. Cookies and local storage

The mobile app does not use advertising cookies. We may use session tokens, local storage or equivalent technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences and secure your account.

6. Camera, photos and coordinates

The app may request camera or photo-library access when you choose to attach evidence. Nautilus also stores maritime coordinates when you save points, zones or findings.

7. Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active or while needed to operate the service. You can delete your account from Profile > Security zone, or use Delete account and data.

8. Sharing and security

We do not sell personal data. We may share data with providers required to operate Nautilus. We apply reasonable safeguards, including encrypted passwords, session tokens and access controls.

9. Your rights

You can request access, correction, portability or deletion by writing to ntilus.project@gmail.com.

We may update this policy and will publish the latest update date on this page.
